비키가 기업 컨퍼런스 때문에 외근할 때였다.
그녀는 쉬는 시간에 수신자부담으로 집에 전화를 걸었다.
비키의 6살짜리 아들이 전화를 받고는 낯선 목소리를 듣게 됐다.
"비키 씨가 통화를 바라고 있습니다. 돈을 내시겠습니까?"
겁에 질린 꼬마가 수화기를 집어던지고 밖으로 뛰쳐나가 소리쳤다.
"아빠! 엄마가 납치됐어요! 돈을 달래요!!"
Vicky was at a business conference.
During a break, she decided to call home collect.
Her six-year-old son picked up the phone and heard a stranger's voice say, "We have Vicky on the line. Will you accept the charges?"
Frantic, the six-year-old dropped the receiver and came charging outside screaming,
"Dad! They have Mom! And they want money!"
